Jennifer Lawrence on the Red Carpet

It's Jennifer Lawrence's birthday! In honor of her birthday, I decided to show a bunch of pictures of her best red-carpet looks (some are from the Christian Dior shows). Everyone loves Jennifer, because she's hilarious but can also pull off a very intense scene in a movie. But her style is also amazing. From her gold cut-out dress at the Hunger Games premiere, to her sleeveless, creme gown at the Oscars, she dresses amazing. What she was wearing at the Christian Dior show this year (picture right above), made some people question how well she could actually dress, but to be honest, I loved what she was wearing. I love the pants, its a new style (after all, we need to set trends too), and crop tops are everywhere. Jennifer is also on the September issue of Vogue and she looks great (photographed by Mario Testino). Why don't you go and pick up a copy. And well I must say, Jennifer does have great style, and we can't wait to see more of her style on the red carpet soon.

Miley Just Can't Stop

It seems that every week, there is a new article about Miley Cyrus. Some are good, some are bad. But here style is something that can't go unnoticed. It seems as if she's trying too hard to shed the "Disney" image, and maybe too fast. She dyed her hair blonde, cut it all off, and is always seen wearing crop tops. At least what she wears isn't awful. It's just edgier, and people mistake that for dresses awful. Her earrings and bracelets are studded, and usually gold (probably for her hair..). I'm sure we'll here about Miley a lot more in the future, and her many style moments.

Zara F/W 2013 Campaign

I love Zara's fall 2013 campaign! It makes me realize why I love to shop at Zara in the first place! I love the whole menswear-inspired looks that have been showing up everywhere, not just Zara! What do you guys think of the campaign?

American Apparel

One thing that I will definitely bring to a vacation this year is a printed maxi skirt. If you're going on vacation to a beach, tropical area, or any place that's hot with water nearby, you should bring a maxi skirt. They're so chic, and go perfectly with the whole vacation-tropical vibe. And it's not just a normal, solid color skirt, it's printed. Printed is way more exciting, to my opinion. And I love the length, because it's not a miniskirt, its long, and I think the perfect length for a maxi skirt is to hit right at the ankles. With printed maxi skirts, you should wear a solid color top, just to balance it out, so it's not print on print. I don't really like print on print, I think it looks too complicated. And flat sandals, preferably in gold would look amazing with these (but it's just my suggestion). Underneath are the links!

Philipp Plein Maxi Skirt from FarFetch

Red Printed Maxi Skirt from Topshop (tip for when buying this, is to buy it one size larger, because this hits above the ankle, and to get the perfect length, it should hit at the ankle).

Blue Plaid Maxi Skirt from American Apparel (tip for when buying this, is to buy it one size larger, because this hits above the ankle, and to get the perfect length, it should hit at the ankle).

Topshop Unique

If you live near New York, then you would notice that yesterday, it was cold. Cold for the summer. And this got me thinking about fall and winter, and if you read my last post, then you know how excited I am for the season. I already started looking at coats. And I love the trend on the runway of oversized coats. And like the title of my post, the bigger, the better. So instead of buying a new coat that hits at your hip or upper thigh, try to buy one that hits right at your knee or a little above it. I love seeing them on the runway in new colors and design other than the traditional black. I know I'll be wearing these in the winter!

Mercedes-Benz Miami Fashion Week Swim is over, and so I decided to share some pictures from it. The kick-off party was a lot of fun, with DJ Chelsea Leyland there. Many celebrities attended Miami Swim Week, from Chrissy Teigen to Kourtney Kardashian to even Dennis Rodman. These are just a few pictures from the kick-off party and the runways.
